One of my biggest pet peeves is when people never do simple maintenance to their vehicles or have it done for them. For example, people who never check their tire pressure. Checking your tire pressure is more important than people might think. Proper tire pressure makes it so your tires wear evenly, so they last as long as possible, and so you can be getting optimal MPG.
Other simple maintenance people neglect to get done is tire rotations which should be done every 6,000 miles, oil changes every 3,000 miles and other fluid changes that only need done every 60k to 100k miles.
Some of the simple maintenance items can get you the most out of your vehicle.
